Hi there! It’s Annie back with another card featuring the new “Hot Air Balloons” stamp set along with a sentiment from the “Stitched Greetings” set. I love the new builder-type sets that Pink & Main has released this month because it gives me the opportunity to break out lots of fun ink colors that I don’t tend to use often.
I started by stamping out my balloons onto some super-smooth cardstock and cutting them out…there are even matching dies for this set that make this super easy! The clouds were made using a stencil and some specialty embossing paste.
After inking up the edges of my background to mimic a soft sky, I layered everything on top of some navy cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the “Stitched Greetings” set. To give the scene a little bit of a dreamy look, I added a couple of clear sequins in various sizes.
