Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I am sharing this adorable pastel birthday card that I created using our March Stamp of the Month, Yappy Birthday! I just adore this 4″ X 6″ set featuring all these cute pups, and I couldn’t resist making a card featuring 2 of them!
This card was fairly easy to pull together. I stamped out the Dancing Pup and the Balloon Pup in Copic Friendly Ink, colored them up, and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I set them aside for later.
For my background, I took one of the pastel patterns from the Year Round Plaids Paper Pack and trimmed it down to A2-sized.
Next, I took a piece of blending cardstock and used the Stitched Arch Dies to die cut my center panel. I then blended a pastel ombré using dye inks.
I grabbed the new Loopy Border dies, and die cut (3) small loopy dies and (2) large loopy dies from white cardstock. I adhered these to my plaid panel.
Next, I die cut (2) sentiment strips from the Large Sentiment Banner Dies from colored cardstock, and then stamped on 2 different sentiments using dye inks.
Finally, it was time to pull the whole card together. I adhered both of my puppers and the sentiment banners with foam tape, and then also applied a couple clusters of Silver Glossy Dots! My card was completed!
