Easy ink blending and stamp layering makes for a perfect summer Pink & Main card!
This background is so pretty and so easy to make! I used the starburst style circle from the Circle Layers Stencil and started in the top left of my card and blended yellow ink with an Ergonomic Blending Brush. I wiped off the stencil and rotated it a bit and blended on pink ink. I shifted the stencil down to the middle right side of the card and repeated the process with aqua and green inks. I did this one more time with dark blue and purple inks. I love how you get bonus colors where the inks overlap! I added some flicks of gold shimmer watercolor to finish off the background.
I am loving stamp layering right now! It makes it easy and simple to bring quick color to stamped images! I stamped out both pineapples from the Sweet Friend Stamp Set and used a variety of inks and the layering stamps to quickly color them in and then die cut them with the coordinating Sweet Friend Die Set.
I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Friend Stamp Set and trimmed it out with my scissors and added my pineapples and my sentiment to the card with foam tape. Thanks so much for joining me!
Adorable!
Have a great day!
