Hi everyone!
Ilina here! I hope you are enjoying the February release so far. To be honest, I am ready for Spring, even though down here in Georgia we don’t really get much of a winter. But still, I am ready for Spring.
Today I am sharing a clean and simple card using the new Ladybug Garden stamp set. This is 6×6 set and also has coordinating dies. I decided to create my little scene only with the stamps from the set, but if you like added dimension you can certainly use the dies.
To make the card I cut piece of alcohol friendly card stock (I used xpress-it) to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped the images and sentiment using black ink. Once the ink was completely dried, I colored the images with alcohol markers (I used my Copics). You can use any coloring medium of your choice. If you use watercolor, I would recommend stamping on watercolor paper.
Once I was satisfied with how the image was colored, I added stack of 3 panels on the back to add dimension, or you can use foam tape or craft foam. I like using cardstock as it gives my card more sturdiness and it goes better through the mail (less likely to bend). After adding the panels on the back I adhered it to a green top folding note card to finish it off.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day.
