Hi friends! This is Caitlin and I had so much fun playing with the stamp of the month to create a sweet and simple fall card! The S’more Fun Stamp and Dies of the month are perfect as we transition from fall to winter and I couldn’t wait to color them up! I stamped the image of the stacked s’mores with alcohol friendly ink onto white card stock and colored it in with copies. I am including a picture of the colors that I used and I promise this was a very easy one to color. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and then decided I needed a background that would help my image pop.
Marshmallows: E43, E41, E40 (cheeks R22)
Chocolate: E59, E57
Crackers: E37, E99, E97
I used the Wide Stripes 6×6 Embossing Folder to press a piece of Pebble card stock that I had trimmed down to be 3.25 in x 4.5 in. I decided to mat that layer with a little pop of color so I added a panel of Wildflowers card stock behind it which measured 3.5 in x 4.75 in to create a really thin frame. I love how this grounds the card to the patterned card stock I picked. I was looking through the Year Round Plaids 6×6 paper pack and fell in love with this fall toned plaid. I love how toasty the colors feel and they are the perfect match for these marshmallows! I trimmed down a sheet to be a standard A2 size (4.25 in x 5.5 in) and added my other panels on top. I stamped the sentiment directly onto one of the embossed stripes with black ink and added my s’mores with some thin foam tape. The last step was to add some sparkle so I scattered three different colors of the Floral Pumpkin Glitter Enamel Dots around my embossed panel. This card came together so quickly and would be a great one to make a set of. Hope you love the new stamp of the month as much as I do!!!
