Strong Coffee Greetings

Hello everyone! Justin here from Just a Note by Justin! Today I am sharing a card I created filled with lots of caffeine and love as it shows of the new Mom Life stamp set, part of our April Release! This set is just too dang cute, and features 3 different mamas who definitely look like they could use a long nap and a little love!

I started by coloring up the mama at her laptop and coffee cup with my Copic Markers and cutting her out with the Mom Life coordinating dies. I set them aside for later!

My blue background was pretty easy to make. I took a piece of light aqua cardstock, stamped the stars and moon stamp all over with a darker aqua ink, and die cut it with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1 die set.

I then cut a strip of white blending cardstock and die cut it on an angle using the same rectangle die for the blue background. I used tape to mask off the bottom, which I blended up with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink. I switched the mask to cover the brown ink and blended Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks, which I also spritzed with a little water and dried. I used the Anti-Static Brush (coming next month!) to brush the angled strip, stamped a black pigment ink, and then heat embossed with our Clear Embossing Powder. I just love this sentiment, as I am a huge sucker for coffee sentiments!

I adhered my angled strip to my light aqua background with liquid adhesive, and then adhered the sleeping mama and coffee cup with foam tape. I finished off my card by adhering a few Cool Jellies Gems, adhered my card to an A2-sized card base, and was completed!
