Happy Tuesday! Katie here today with a fun shaker card for the holidays. I hope you like it.
This little singing bear is so cute and going to steal your heart, especially because he is enclosed in lovely glitter filled snow globe. Here is how I made it:
I started by stamping this cute Bear form Polly and Pete Carols and die cut it using the Polly and Pete Coordinating Die Set. I colored him with my Copics using B24, B26, B29, R37, R35, R14, Y15, Y13, E17, E25, R20, C3, C1. I set him aside. Next, I stamped the Empty Snow Globe image and die cut it with the Coordinating Empty Snow Globe Dies and repeated it with foam tape to make it a shaker. I stamped it again on kraft cardstock and used a bit of distress ink to darken the edges and on that I stamped the sentiment from the Polly and Pete set and cut it out and mounted on my snow globe. On the background layer, I used the Blizzard Stencil with Patina ink. I added my bear in and some of the Ice Rink Glitter before closing it up. Next, I used white cardstock as a base and added some Patina Distress Ink onto it I also used it to stamp some of the stars. I stamped the sentiment in the upper left. Before I mounted the shaker, I added some white twine and tied it. Then I used some Summer Glitter Paper with the Winter Wreath Decor Dies to add the snowflake, which I stuck down with a glue dot. I finished it with some white Essential Pearls. I tacked it down with some of the EZ Tear Tape and then added more pearls to the outside.
I sure hope that you like it! Please visit FB and IG for more inspiration and check out all goodies in the shop.
