Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna in Tokyo here, and I have a sneak peek for you today that is all about summer fun!
Let’s start from the back of this card, shall we? On top of the green card base, There is a gorgeous swirly embossed piece of card. This new Catch a Wave embossing folder is so much fun, but would also make an elegant background for a wedding or floral card too. Only one day until it releases!
Next, we have the two layered tag, from a new Fancy Tags die that will also be released on the 20th. The bottom layer is green glitter paper, and then the next layer up has my favourite stitched details.
The pineapple comes from the soon-to-be-released Sweet friend stamp set, and matching dies. I stamped this a few times, layering darker colors of ink at the base of the pineapple and the bottom leaves. I used the outline stamp that is included in the stamp to line up the images, but then stamped this one without the outline for a softer look.
The final fun touch comes from the Stamp and Die of the Month for June. These sunglasses were perfect for making sure that the pineapple was not going to be mistaken for anything other than the rock star princess that she really is! I stamped them and cut them with the matching die. I glued them slightly to the right hand side. This is to draw the eyes to the right, where the sentiment from the same stamp set sits. Always wear your crown! Make sure you have a look at the stamp of the month, because it has so many adorable critters that can be mixed and matched with the sunnies (is that only Australian for sunglasses, or is it worldwide, I wonder?)
