Hey, everyone! It’s Lynnea and I LOVE s’mores! They are one of my favorite treats! I’ve even been known to make them with a blow dryer in my kitchen in the middle of winter! Haha! When I saw the Happy Camper stamp set from Pink & Main I knew I wanted to create a whole background of yummy s’mores!
I used the s’more image from the Happy Camper stamp set and repeatedly stamped it across my A2 sized card. I used my watercolor markers to color each one of them and then added some flicks of dark brown watercolor to the background. I thought that I would leave the card just as the background with a sentiment strip in the middle – but the little bear with the marshmallows was calling my name! I stamped the image and colored it with Copics and used the Happy Camper dies to cut him out.
I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the Happy Camper stamp set and trimmed it into a little banner. I started fiddling around with the bear and sentiment strip and I felt like it wasn’t standing out enough. I die cut some vellum using the Stitched Top Note dies and arranged it on the left side of my card. I used foam tape behind the bear and behind the vellum so there is plenty of dimension.
