Hello, hello!! It’s Laurie here to share a card that I had an absolute blast making!! I made a loved themed card set in space. Sounds romantic, doesn’t it? Actually, it’s super cute!
I stamped the two cute space from the My Universe stamp set and used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out. I chose the colours based on one of the GORGEOUS papers from the Galaxy Foil 6X6 Paper Pack. If you could only buy one paper pack this year, make it this one…it’s simply beautiful!!
I used a heart die to cut the paper and also some craft foam. Because the paper is quite thin, it needed more support than regular foam adhesive could give.
I did some background stamping using the small stars from the set on the card base itself using a light grey ink. I decided to add a stitched rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies Set 2. It just provided a bit of separation from all that stamping. I glued the heart to the base then foam mounted my two astronauts and made them hold hands.
I added some glitter pen details to the girls space suit as well as a few extra die cut stars I added to the background. I added a thick layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the helmets for a lot of shine! I stamped and trimmed the sentiment and added it to the bottom of the heart.
I think the cuteness level is off the charts on this card and I hope you like it!!
