Rainbow butterfly

Hello Everyone, it is Zsofi here with a clean and simple butterfly encouragement card.

I started with applying Asphalt Surface ink with a stencil brush through the Four Point Stars stencil on textured white cardstock. I made sure to apply the ink heavier in the middle and lighter towards the edges of the paper. Then I ran it through my die cutting machine with the largest Stitched rectangle die to give it a nice faux stitched edge.

Then I stamped and coloured the butterfly from the Spread your wings stamp set using Copic markers. I love anything rainbow so I had to make a rainbow butterfly. I used the coordinating die to cut it out an added a good amount of shimmer to it all with a Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen. I also embellished it with some white gel pen dots and added Glossy Accents to some parts of the image. When it was dry I mounted it on my stencilled background with 3D foam squares.

I decided to stamp 2 sentiments as I thought they go so well together thanks to the same font. I used my regular black ink for that. As a finishing touch I scattered a bunch of clear sequins all around the card.

I hope you enjoyed this simple yet so bright and cheerful card. Till next time, happy crafting!

Zsofi
