The new October release is available in the store, but today I would like to share a pencils coloured card made with the delicious Sweet Christmas stamps set.
This set contains for main images of Christmas pies and cakes, a number of smaller accessory stamps like cookies and candies, and two sweet sentiments in a delicate lettered font.
To make my card I started with stamping the sentiment in the Rose Garden ink down to a kraft panel die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Die. Pink And Main Surface ink gives a very crisp impression for this graceful stamp.
I stamped two main images in the opposite corners and repeatedly stamped several small images around them in a very light brown ink. Next I coloured all the images with pencils.
To make images more realistic I added a soft shading around them.
To finish off the card I added dots of embossing ink to a light blue card note, covered the dots with 3D embossing powder and heat embossed it. Then foam mounted the coloured kraft panel to this sparkling card note.
The Sweet Christmas set is made for colouring and it looks too delicious being coloured with pencils to ignore this medium. Are you feeling inspired to grab your pencils and pick a pie from this set and enjoy your crafty time?
