Guest Designer – Kimberly Rendino

Hello, Pink & Main friends!   I’m excited to stop by today and share a few cards created with some awesome new Pink & Main stamps and dies!

First up I used the adorable Pirate Critters stamps and dies.   As soon as I saw that pirate ship, I knew I wanted to create a turbulent sea as my background.   I used an embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers and then added lots of shades of blue Distress Ink over top.  I love how the ink highlights the embossed waves!   I flicked some water droplets onto the background piece to add some more interest!

I colored the pirate ship with Copic markers and die cut it with that fabulous pink die 😉   I adhered it to the background with an Action Wobble Spring – it’s so cute when it wiggles along on the ocean waves!   I heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip of cardstock and notched the end.   I think that sentiment is perfection along with the “lost at sea” pirate ship!!

For my next card, I used stamps & dies from the super sweet ‘The Scoop‘ set.   I decided to make a bunch of flavors and toppings on this card – my personal fave is the plain chocolate!

I colored everything with Copic markers and die cut all of the ice cream cones.   I adhered them in the center of my card and stamped the sentiment directly underneath.   I used my Scor-Board to create lines above and below the cones, then took a piece of Post-It paper and adhered it over the cones, right at the scored lines, to use as a mask.   I stamped the cones above and below the die cuts.   A little Glossy Accents was the finishing touch!

Thanks so much to Michelle for having me as a guest today, and a big thanks to you blog readers for hanging out with me!  I hope you stop by my blog, Kimplete Kreativity, sometime to say hi!
