Glittery rainbow

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with you, I brought a very sparkly rainbow card today which may cheer anyone up who feels a bit down.

As always I started with stamping the rainbow, the sun and a bunch of clouds from the Bright side stamp set and coloured them with my Copic markers. I used their coordinating die to cut them out.

Next I worked on the background: I used the Clouds stencil with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink to create a cloudy blue sky on an A2 sized notecard. When I finished the panel, I sprinkled it with water and let it sit for about 30 seconds before I dabbed it with a paper towel. I also added some diluted Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink splatters and some white acrylic paint splatters for a textured look.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on a strip of black cardstock using white embossing powder. I adhered it to the bottom of the card.

Before arranging the scene, I added a small amount of Ranger Multi Matte Medium glue with a precision tip to the bottom of each cloud and also to each line in the rainbow. I sprinkled some Hero Arts Prisma glitter on it and let it dry. When it was all dry I wiped off the access with a dry paint brush and mounted them all on the card using thin 3D foam squares.

To finish it off I scattered a few clear gems all around.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will pop in again for more inspiration, Until next time, happy crafting!
