Die cut shape window card

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here with you this morning with a cute wedding card featuring the newly released Perfect Couple stamp and die set. I will also show you a simple trick for how to get more use of your coordinating dies.

I started with a piece of heavy weight white cardstock which I die cut with the largest Arch Tag die. I placed the coordinating die of the bear couple in the middle of it and ran it through my die cutting machine again. I also die cut the word Congrats from Rose Gold metallic cardstock and adhered it under the die cut shape window. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment (from the Perfect Couple stamp set) under it using black ink.

On a piece of alcohol marker friendly cardstock I stamped the bear couple and colored them with Copic markers. I used 3D foam tape to adhere this piece behind the die cut window and mounted the tag on a pretty patterned paper from the Watercolor Foil paper pad. I added it all to a white top folding card base.

As a finishing touch I added a bit of glossy accents to the crowns and noses and ran a light pink marker around the edges of the die cut window. Thanks to the embossed edge it was easy to make the frame even. I love the way it looks! Finally I embellished the top of the card with die cut Rose Gold hearts (also a coordinating die in the Perfect Couple set).

I hope you got inspired and will try this simple technique with your coordinating dies. Until next time, happy crafting!

Zsofi
