Christmas cards and more by Kate

today I have blog post full of inspiration. I prepared my last Christmas cards and also one with new awesome release!

The first card is shaped card as usually I used Stitched Circle Dies. My first layer is patterned paper – from Jolly 6×6 Paper Pad – this one is for this season really “must have” so great papers to create christmas cards. Second layer is just red card stock and I stamped Christmas Script stamp with WOW embossing ink and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. And because I had quite nice rest of paper I made bow with Medium Bow Dies.

My second card is shaker card. I worked with Frosty 6×6 Paper Pad I choose 2 patterned paper one with chevron and one with snowflakes. Basic shape is made with Stitched Rounded Square Dies. Sentiment Christmas Script is stamped with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink. There are blue and white micro beads. And of course I made bow with Medium Bow Dies just because I love bow dies!

My last card is made with new release. I really played with many new products. So base is made from kraft paper and Stitched Circle Dies. Than I stamped with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain different motives from Genie Boy stamp set and Genie girl stamp set. For adding more interest I used Four Point Stars Stencil – I applied white pigment ink with small sponge dabber, my ink was too juicy so my background looks really like mixed media one. But no worries sometimes are mistakes really interesting at the end. Main image is stamped with black ink and coloured with Kuretake watercolour markers. Than I used Genie Boy Dies. Sentiment is from Genie boy stamp set and it is stamped with Distress oxide ink – Walnut stain.

Have a nice day and see you next week
