Celebrate!!!

Hello friends, and welcome!! Laurie here, to share a card that I seriously had so much fun making!!

I started by creating my own stamped background using the balloons image from the Life is a Circus Stamp Set. I stamped randomly, making sure to fill as much as the panel in as I could.

After the stamping was done, I used the second largest die from the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Dies to cut it down. I wanted to have a monochromatic background. I used 4 shades of cool grey alcohol markers to achieve this.

I stamped 3 extra sets of balloons, coloured them in bright colours and used the co-ordinating die to cut them out.

I took the outline die from the Celebrate Dies and cut out the centre of the stamped panel. This separated the panel, allowing for the font portion of the die set to snuggle into! I did cut a piece of grey cardstock with the same rectangle die to adhere all my pieces to.

I cut the “celebrate” as well as the balloons out of craft foam to give some dimension. I love using this foam for a solid backing.

I adhered the decorated panel onto an A2, top fold card base. I love the spotlight colouring effect this gives! I didn’t even add any embellishment!! I thought all the dimension was enough 🙂

Thank you so much for dropping by this morning! I hope your weekend is amazing!!

Laurie
