Bobbin By to Say Hello

Hi, there! It’s Lynnea! I have a card for you using a standard die cut inlay technique along with some ink blending! I hope you love this card as much as I do….because I really, really love it! The blues and purples with the mint and pink makes me so very happy!!

I started by ink blending some blue and purple inks diagonally across a piece of 110 lb cardstock, flicked on some water, and then die cut the panel with the Quilt Square 1 die. I used a piece of Press N’ Seal on the front of my die cut piece to hold all of the little pieces and the outline together so I could work with it as one piece rather than a bunch of pieces. I flipped over my cardstock to the back and put small pieces of foam tape on the back of each of the little pop out pieces and liquid glue onto the outline piece. Since I used the Press N Seal all I had to do was flip the piece over and put it onto a 4.25″ square card and hold it for a minute and everything adhered so easily!

I stamped out a sentiment and some of my favorite images from the Sewing stamp set and colored them in with my Copics. I love how the minty aqua color mixes with the blues and purples in the background! I cut them out with the coordinating Sewing dies and glued them onto the card front.

I added some Wink of Stella to my images and that finished off the card! I just LOVE how it turned out! Thanks for “bobbin” by! Haha!
