Basket Cover Die With Some Shine

Hello, everyone! It’s Lynnea and today I made a card full of shimmer and shine with a bunch of new products from the August 2018 release!

I started by die cutting the new Basket Cover Die from a piece of gold foil cardstock. I glued it onto a white standard A2 sized card base using liquid glue. I also took some random bits and pieces and glued them back into the die cut panel like a puzzle. I die cut two pieces of cardstock (teal and kraft) using the Wreath Base Die to create my wreath background and also die cut a bunch of little mini pieces from the Fall Wreath Decor Dies from various colors of patterned paper. I added some gold shimmer ink on top of the yellow die cut pieces and some pink shimmer ink on top of the leaves I cut from red cardstock.

Isn’t the shine just gorgeous?! I stamped the bear image from the Season of Change stamp set and used watercolors to color him. I used the coordinating Season of Change Dies to cut him out and popped him up with foam tape in the middle of my wreath. I love the font of the sentiments from the Fall Friends stamp set, so I stamped one onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with gold powder.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed this card! See you soon!
