Baby It’s Cold Outside

Hello, friends and welcome back!! Laurie here to share a card using some of the newest products from the September release!  I love the warm and cozy feeling of all the newest stamps and dies. Even though I’m not nearly ready for winter, I’m having a blast playing with this release!!

I decided to use the new Eskimo Kisses stamp set along with its co-ordinating dies.  This set is so adorable and so much fun to colour!!

First, I created the sky background using the Clouds Stencil and Broken China Distress Ink. The snowbanks were made using the Scalloped Waves Dies. I lightly inked the top of each with the same blue ink. I used my alcohol markers to colour in a few of the images from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set and arranged them on the panel.

The snowflakes come from the Snow Sweet Stamp set, which is also new this month! I added some Crystal Stickles to the centres of the flakes as well as to the igloo to give some sparkle. And I can’t make a card without using Glossy Accents, so that was added to the red parts of the images 🙂
