Hey friends! Katie here today with another happy humming bird card. Last time my card had an Anna’s Hummingbird, today’s card features a Rufous Hummingbird.
This card has such a fun collection of colors and patterns. It is pretty far from my typical cute and bright style. I think I am also getting in the mood for fall, the colors scream fall.
So here is how I made this card:
I stamped the bird from the Sweet Greetings set and colored with my Copics and then cut out the image using the coordinating Sweet Greetings Die set. I added some sparkle pen to my bird, followed by some white gel once the sparkle was dry. I set this aside and stamped the image from the You Stamp Set. I colored this with Copics as well and used the Coordinating You Dies and added more gel highlights. Next, I pulled out some various green cardstocks and used the Beautiful Slim Line Dies to cut it out. I used some of the Garden DP along the bottom portion of the green cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiments on the card form the You set using black in. I mounted both images on the base using foam tape. I wrapped some orange twine around the base. Then I finished it off by adding some Crystal Gems.
