Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here with a fun Halloween themed card featuring the newly released Your spell stamps and dies along with the Spider web cover up die.
I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and used the Cloud stencil to create a spooky sky with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. When the clouds were done, I went over the whole panel with Shaded lilac ink to smooth the effect. Then I splattered purple, black and white paint over the whole panel.
On another piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock I sponged Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and added water and diluted black ink splatters. It gave some texture and variation in colour. When it was dry I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Spiderweb cover up die, and layered it on the cloudy background.
I stamped the images from the Your Spell stamp set on Bristol Smooth cardstock and used Derwent Inktense pencils to colour them. This was the first time to try these watercolour-like pencils, the vibrancy is amazing! I moved the colours with a waterbrush. I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.
On a 1 inch wide black cardstock I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Your Spell stamp set and assembled the card.
I added glossy accents to some details on the coloured images and my card was ready.
