Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I’m so excited to say that my April goodies have arrived and I haven’t stopped playing with them since! I have a card to share with you today that is quite a bit of a departure from my normal colouring, but it’s all about the white today. (All good until you try to photograph it!)
This card has the Ornate Tile Embossing Folder as the background. The details on this folder are absolutely amazing! You can expect to see a lot of it from me! I cut the panel very slightly smaller than my card before running it through my cutting machine in the folder. I then stamped the Floral Sprays Stamp onto some pale grey card with the brand new Pink and Main Embossing and Watermark ink, before heat embossing it with Frosting embossing powder, which is a white embossing powder. I was very happy with how both of these performed. These are both brand new from Pink and Main. I then cut out the bouquet with the Floral Sprays dies that go with the stamp set.
The sentiment was also stamped with Pink and Main Embossing and Watermark ink, before heat embossing it with Frosting embossing powder. This time I used Vellum, so I made sure my heat gun was super hot and got on and off the vellum very quickly!. I wrapped the vellum around my panel, and stuck it at the back before sticking the panel to my card. I popped the floral image up with foam tape, allowing it to fall over the edges a little.
The resulting card is a lovely sophisticated sympathy card. That’s all for today’s card. I hope that you’ve enjoyed this little peaceful interlude before the bright colours start up again from me! Until next time,
May your days be full of fun,
Blessings
