Happy Wednesday y’all! It’s Annie and I’m back with another card featuring both new and old Pink&Main stamp sets. Today I’m using the newly released “Planner Tabs” set along with the adorable “Little One” set to create a bright and cheery baby card.
I love to find other ways to use all of the tiny words and images in the planner stamp sets…I have a planner, but I am usually pretty terrible about using it outside of work! So, when I was looking at the new “Planner Tabs” set, I immediately saw a bunch of cute banner shapes that I could use on cards.
I stamped several of the shapes in blue, green, and yellow ink and then cut them out, leaving a small white border. Then I popped these up on foam adhesive over a stretch of baby blue baker’s twine to form my banner.
I had some white enamel hearts and stars that fit perfectly into the open shapes on two of my flags, so I added them for a little interest. Then I stamped and embossed my giraffe image and colored him in with colored pencils and no blending (I liked how this kept the card just a bit child-like).
The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in white on matching blue cardstock. I also added matching layers of yellow and green cardstock to complete the card.
I hope this project inspires you to look at your planner stamps in a new way! You can find additional supply details on my blog here.
