Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I’m sharing a trio of projects that I created using a watercolor technique! I love the brand new Happy Easter Word Die, and figured it would make for a perfect focal point for the card!
To create this project, the first thing that I did was take (3) pieces of watercolor paper and cut them down to be A2-sized. I took some inks out of my stash, and watercolored different patterns using pastel colors. Next, I grabbed the 3rd largest Mod Stitched Rectangle Die and die cut out the (3) panels. Finally, I ran each of the Mod Stitched Rectangles through my die cutting machine while inside the Daisies Embossing Folder and set these rectangles aside.
I took the Hooray Paper Pack, and pulled out 3 of the polka dot prints: (1) yellow, (1) lime green & (1) baby blue. I used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1 die set, and die cut each of the pieces of patterned paper. I set these aside for my last step.
Next, I had to get my sentiment die cut. I die cut the Happy Easter Word Die 6 times from white paper. I then stacked the dies so they were 2-die cuts thick. I took the outline piece from the Happy Easter Word Die and die cut (3) pieces of vellum. I adhered each stacked sentiment to their respective piece of vellum.
To construct my cards, I then adhered each vellum die cut unit to its own Mod Rectangle Embossed Daisy piece. Then, I adhered each Mod Rectangle unit to its respective Stitched Rectangle Patterned Paper panel. I finished the cards off by adding some White Glitter Enamel Dots and was completed!
And those are how I made my trio of cards!
