Hello and welcome!! It’s Laurie with you this morning to share a fun, happy card that involves mostly die cutting and using patterned paper. I will confess that patterned paper intimidates me. I love it and have a ton of it but I really don’t know how to use it effectively. Luckily, the paper packs from Pink & Main make it pretty easy!
I used the Something Whimsy Paper Pad for my card today. What’s great about this paper is that all the colours co-ordinate as well as the patterns. So, it’s easy to mix and match and not end up with a mismatched mess, which is what typically happens to me when I try to combine papers.

I started by using the smallest die in the Stitched Top Note Die Set to cut out 4 different patterns of paper. I cut 3 of each pattern. After playing around with the layout, which happens to be on the largest Stitched Rectangle Set 2 Dies, I thought it would be cool to add some dimension to the panel. I simply used my scoring board to add embossed lines every 1/4 of an inch. This also gave me a guide when lining up my patterned paper pieces!!

I die cut craft foam (with the same top note die) to layer behind each patterned paper piece. I love dimension! I used liquid adhesive to attach all the pieces onto the white, embossed panel.
The sentiment comes from the Just Because Stamp Set which was white heat embossed on to a Sentiment Strip Die. Side note: these 2 products are probably my most used P&M goodies!

I think this card turned out quite happy and fun and I was so impressed with how easy it was to use this paper!!
Thank you so much for stopping in!
See you soon!
Laurie
