Hello Crafty Friends,
Sylvie @kaliscards here with a rain shaker featuring the cute Stay hoppy critters.
To create the card, I first cut the front panel from white cardstock and used the second bigger arch from the Stitched Arches die set to create an opening. I then die cut another panel with the greater die from the Zig Zag rectangle dies.
I then inked the Zig zag panel with Distress oxide Iced spruce and the Cloudy day stencil. I then started to string delicas beads on nylon cord (around 40 beads times 8 times for each of the inside 8 indents of the zig zag rectangle). I taped the nylon cord at the back, securing the beads on each line.
Next, I cut a piece of acetate to tape at the back of the arch opening and heat embossed the sentiment from the Well wishes set. I then taped the acetate at the back of the arch, added 3D foam and then adhered the rain shaker at the back. I added more 3D foam at the back of the rain shaker and adhered it to the cardbase.
I then stamped the critters from the Stay hoppy set and colored the images with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies and adhered them to the front panel.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you like this rain shaker card idea and will give it a try!
