I love easy techniques that give me two cards from one background. I have a video today showing how I made two die cut Valentine’s Day cards with new Pink & Main goodies!
I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Quilt Square 1 Die and used masking tape to hold all of the little pieces inside of the frame. I used an Ergonomic Blending Brush to blend on some purple, blue, and green inks over the die cut background. I flipped over the background and added little foam squares behind each punch out piece of the Quilt Square 1 Die Cut. I removed the backers and added the whole piece onto a card base and peeled back the masking tape and outer frame leaving me with a dimensional die cut background. So fun!
I wanted to keep the font of the card simple, so I stamped and colored the cute little bear from the Mini Bear Hug Stamp Set and die cut him with the coordinating die. This stamp and die combo is a special free with purchase promotion for any new order over $50! And only while supplies last! He’s super duper cute and the die even cuts out the coordinating sentiment!
My second card is simpler, but I added a special touch to kick it up! I used an Ergonomic Blending Brush to cover a white 4.25″ x 4.25″ card base with yellow ink and glued the outer frame of the Quilt Square 1 Die on the top. I used an image from the Rawr Stamp Set and cut it with the coordinating dies. Rather than simply popping up the image with foam tape I added an action wobbler behind him! Now he wobbles back and forth!
You can catch all of the wobbly fun in my video! Thanks so much for watching! Remember that the Mini Bear Hug Stamp and Die Set is available as a free with purchase promotion for any new order over $50 only while supplies last!
These are so cute!
