Hey, Hey, Katie here again. I was just here on Friday but I knew you missed me so I came back quickly. 😉
I have another lovely butterfly card to share with you today, are you ready?
Tada! This card is a simple design and was easy to make. I love to color so this will be no surprise, but the funnest (I know that isn’t a word) part was coloring the butterflies. You can do whatever you want with these lovelies, any color combo you can imagine. For mine, i wanted to go a bit different, but also subtle (i.e. not as bold and bright as some of my others).
To make this, I stamped the images from Butterfly Sketches and cut them out with the Coordinating Butterfly Sketches Dies. I colored them with Copics (YG23, YG23, YG11, Y11, RV10, V05, E43, E33). Then I used the Butterfly Kisses DP and some Pink Cardstock to create the background panel. I wanted to use some ribbon and twine from my stash, so pulled that out and wrapped it around, then mounted this layer on my white base. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine. Then I mounted my butterflies with foam tape. The final touch was to add a few of these lovely pastel pearls from the Essential Pearls pack using glue dots.
Here is a close up of the lovely butterflies and those pearls. Aren’t they so pretty!? I think so and hope you do too.
Thanks so much for visiting today, I hope it is a great one for you! ~Katie
