Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie and today I’m sharing a card using one of the November’s new stamp sets, Timber. I’m not sure if I’m alone in having trouble creating masculine cards that aren’t too cutesy, but this stamp set sure made it easy to do.
First, I wanted to create a simple background and I was able to easily accomplish that using the new Herringbone stencil. I picked out a piece of red cardstock and used a similar ink color with the stencil. It creates a subtle background that’s not to cutesy or flashy.
Next, I used the adorable man hanging out on a log. Who knows what he’s doing, but I thought he was so cute. I added a strip of paper to stamp the sentiment. Everything came together so easily and it’s perfect for a masculine card. Don’t you think?
