Hi friends, this is Caitlin from Caitlin Annalee Cards and today I am sharing a card featuring the June Stamp and Die of the Month. The new Top Dog Stamp set is so amazingly cute and I really wanted to play with creating a super simple scene for the larger, dog house image. I started out by stamping my image onto my favorite alcohol friendly paper and I used my Copic markers to color it in. I added a light blue and a yellow-green to the area around the image so that when I die cut it, there is no white boarder.
I used the larger rectangle die from the Layered Scallops A2 Rectangle Dies to cut a layer of the Ice Rink Card Stock. I ink blended Lakeside Ink over the Cloudy Day Stencil in a few layers to create a sky and then ink blended The Park Ink over the bottom of the panel, using a folded piece of printer paper along the top to create a straight line. I stamped my sentiment right about the grass on the left of the card with the Asphalt Ink and then adhered my image down flat with the EZ Squeeze Glue Tube.
I trimmed down the blue gingham pattern from the Cool Basics 6×6 Paper Pack to fit my side folding A2 sized card base. I added that to my base and then I added Foam Tape to the back of my scene panel and added it to the card. At some point I had ink on my fingers and I ended up with a finger print above my sentiment so I added a few blue pearls from the Pastel Pearls wheel which to me, sort of look like bubbles floating through the air. I also created a card with the Top Dog stamps on my Live this week and you can check that out here if you missed it:
