Hello, Pink & Main friends and fans!
I’m back with a QUICK technique idea that I think really elevates die sentiments!
As you can see this is a CAS card design- a stenciled background, heart highlight with hints of gold accents, and a die cut sentiment. When I was creating this card, I knew the sentiment needed just a little bit more to help it pop on that background. My idea was to create an outline image for the die cut… but this set didn’t come with outline dies!!!
NO WORRIES! This technique is super easy to do for all of your sentiment dies or any die that you want to have an outline for! Just follow these steps:
- Flip the die so the word is “readable”
- Trace around that die onto paper or vellum
- Cut it out, erase traced lines, and attach your die cut sentiment
See?! It’s that easy!!!! Adding outline images to die cut sentiments when none are available can be done with literally ALL of your dies!!!
I hope that this inspires you to try this technique on your next project!!! Please remember to share what you create so I can leave you some love ❤️
THANKS so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!!!
Hugs ❤️ Savannah
