Hi everyone! Samantha here today on the Pink and Main Blog so excited to share a Sneak Peek of the September release coming out this Friday, September 20th. I am also excited to share my very first Christmas card of this holiday card crafting season and it uses the cutest new stamp set, Chilly Treats. This wonderful new stamp set contains so many great images of sweet treats designed to represent iconic Christmas characters.
To start my card, I first stamped out 4 of my favorite images onto Copic X-Press It cardstock using my favorite espresso brown ink. I then Copic colored each image in traditional holiday colors before cutting out all of my images using the corresponding Chilly Treats Dies.
Next, I cut a card panel out of plain white cardstock using my Stitched Rounded Frame Dies and I softly ink blended a background shadow in red ink before adhering my images to the panel. I used both thick and thin foam tape for my images for added dimension. Next, I stamped my sentiment in espresso ink onto my panel as shown above before mounting the panel onto cherry red cardstock die cut using my Scallop Rectangle Dies
To finish everything off, I adhered my matted card panel to a folding A2 card base using a dark forest green cardstock and I added a few Gold Sticky Gems embellishments.
I just love how this turned out and I hope you do too!
Thanks for reading!
