Hello, fellow crafters and happy weekend!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! Brenda here with a sweet Easter card to share with you today!! I can’t believe Easter is two weeks from tomorrow!! My card today is simple in design, but the foil really makes it shine…literally!!
I began by foiling the bunny panel from the Easter Treats Foilables Set with Ombre Pastel CheerFoil. I trimmed it slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of Dress Shop Cardstock.
Next, I stamped the sweet Easter basket from the For Peeps Sake Stamp Set onto Ice Rink Cardstock with Asphalt Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I die-cut a piece of Ice Rink Cardstock with the 7th smallest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set and a piece of Dress Shop Cardstock with the 4th largest die in the Scallop Rectangle Die Set. The sentiment, also from the For Peeps Sake Stamp Set, was heat embossed onto the bottom of the Ice Rink panel with Sangria Embossing Powder. The two rectangles were adhered together with liquid glue.
The Easter basket was popped up onto the rectangles with foam adhesive, then that panel was also adhered with foam tape, for lots of dimension. I added some shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen and a gem from the Happy Hello Sticky Gems Pack to each side of the sentiment to finish off the card.
I hope you love how this turned out as much as I do!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
