Summer Live Catch Up

Hi friends, this is Caitlin and every week I go Live with Pink and Main on YouTube and Facebook on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8:30 eastern. I wanted to share some of the projects we’ve made in the last few weeks in case you missed any or didn’t realize we were creating live. This week I will be on Friday (July 7th) instead of Thursday but next week we got back to our normal scheduling. I hope that you feel inspired by these projects and that you will come hang out with us when you can.

We had this really fun Cool Chick card combining the Chicken In Stamps and the Home Tweet Home Stamps to make a custom farm scene card. We added some tone on tone texture with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and colored our images to match the Warm Basics Paper Pad to bring everything together.

This was a really fun and slightly messy live lol. We ink blended the two die cut backgrounds with Construction, Dress Shop and Night Sky Premium Dye Inks and added water as well as pink and white splatters to give it some really fun texture. Then we colored images from the Sweetest Birthday Stamp Set with Copic markers and added them with foam tape. I really love how the bright colors and the white space of these balance each other out.

We made this card last week to celebrate Independence Day coming up but I think this same layout would be amazing with any combination of colors. We used the Making Waves Cover Die with the red tone on tone dot from the Year Round Stripes and Dots paper pad for the background and added white small scallops from the Layered Scallops Circles Die Set to the middle. I foiled one of the Happy 4th Foible Kit sentiments with the Cobalt Cheerfoil and then added in a circle of Silver Enamel Dots for extra shine.

I have been having so much fun creating live with everyone and getting the groups input while we are creating. I really hope you will come stop by if you can and always feel free to ask questions or make request for products or techniques you want to see!
