Stocking Stuffer Slimline Shaker Card

Hi! Halloween is over, so that means it’s full throttle into Christmas, right?! I have the cutest Pink & Main Stocking Stuffer slimline shaker card today!

Let’s jump right in! I wanted to make a slimline shaker with the scalloped die in the Sympathy Slimline Die Set and found that the third largest die from the Stitched Slimline Die Set fit perfectly inside. I nested the two dies and cut them together to create my frame from white cardstock. I die cut the scalloped die from the Sympathy Slimline Die Set once more without the extra die so that I would have a background panel perfectly fit to my frame. I used the Roundabout Stencil to create my background, but this took a bit of stretching. I positioned the stencil at the bottom of my slimline panel, taped it down, and blended on ink, then removed my stencil and shifted it up to the top lining it up with the bottom design and stenciling again.

I added acetate and foam tape to my shaker frame and filled my slimline shaker card with Christmas colored sequins. I needed a cute little image to go on top of my shaker, so I stamped the stocking and elf images from the Stocking Stuffers Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic Markers and then cut them with the coordinating Stocking Stuffers Dies and added them to my card with foam tape.

I stamped my sentiment from the Stocking Stuffers Stamp Set and bubble cut around it and added it to the card across the center of the stocking image. And that’s it! Thanks for joining me!
