Starfish Wishes

Hi Friends! It is Dana here today and I am so excited to be sharing a card for the Pink & Main and Therm O Web collaboration!! It has been so much fun to have these two amazing companies team up and work together for the week. Today, I am taking a break from Christmas crafting and sharing a Birthday card. Let’s get started, shall we?

I started my card by creating my background. I sprayed the back of the Mermaid Tail Stencil with Pixie Spray. Pixie Spray holds your stencil in place but won’t tear or leave a residue on your project… definitely a must have! I then applied Deco Foil Transfer Gel over my stencil. I let this dry for a few hours. Once it was dry I ran my stenciled piece along with a Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet in Blue Sky through my laminator.

Here is a close up of my flocked background…such a fun and easy technique.

Next, I began working on my stamped images. I stamped the seahorses from the Starfish Wishes Stamp Set in a Copic friendly black ink. I then colored the seahorses with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card layout, I die cut the Reverse Scallop Rectangle from mint green cardstock and vellum. I inlaid the vellum piece inside of the green frame and mounted it onto my flocked background. Lastly, I attached my seahorses and sentiment with foam adhesive to my card front.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my card and get a chance to stop by the Therm O Web online store to see all of their amazing products. Enjoy the rest of your week and I will be back on Sunday to share another project with you all!
