Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Pink and Main’s new release with the amazing stamp set named, Starfish Wishes. I hope you’ve been enjoying all the new items and get inspired to create. I definitely am loving this June release for all the summery items! They are pretty amazing and I hope you think so too.
First of all, I love seahorses and I fell in love immediately with the little girl on a seahorse so I knew I had to use her right away. I stamped her out and wanted to make this image the focus of this card.
It was so fun to color her in! I personally love larger spaces on images so I can put in some details. I definitely love how her hair turned out. Because I wanted to keep the focus on her, I pulled out the largest of the new Reverse Scallop Circle dies, and die cut out using this teal glitter cardstock I had. I wanted the teal to match her memaid outfit.
I didn’t want to leave a plain white background behind her, so I pulled out a piece of patterned paper from new paper pad, The Shore and picked a simple ombre wave looking piece of paper. I layered it on top of white and then on top of another layer of teal glitter.
I stamped out the sentiment on white cardstock and then as a finishing touch, I added some Silver Glossy Hearts. These were perfect as they look like little water bubbles but just a little sweeter since they were hearts.
I love how sweet this card turned out and I hope you’re enjoying all the fun projects using the new release!
