Hello! It’s Andrea with you sharing an easy, spooky scene using only inks and dies.
With the Wreath Base Dies, I die-cut two wreaths from black cardstock. I also die-cut a wreath from an A2 panel of white cardstock. Using the Fall Wreath Decor Dies, I cut out the owl and cat from black cardstock and the owl from lime green cardstock.
Onto an A2-sized panel of Bristol Smooth paper, I placed a circle mask die-cut with the Stitched Circle Dies and ink-blended with Riverwalk, Barbershop, and Asphalt inks. With the mask still in place, I flicked on some white paint to create stars. I removed the mask and used some gray Zig markers and a waterbrush to add craters to the moon. Because the die is stitched that I used for my mask, there were lines of blue ink on the moon. I easily covered those up with a white gel pen.
I flicked some black paint onto the die-cut A2 panel. After the paint had dried, I laid the panel face down, placed one of the black wreaths into the opening, and backed the panel with foam tape, making sure the tape overlapped onto the black wreath to hold it in place. After adhering the panel to my background, I adhered the owl and kitty. I bent up the leaves on the second wreath and glued it over the first one. Finally, I brushed some clear sparkle onto the cat and adhered the panel to a white card.
Thanks for stopping by!
