Hey friends and welcome back! Laurie here with you this morning to share a little peek of one of the upcoming new stamp sets! This release is beyond amazing and it’s a BIG one!!!
I’m a fan of using non-traditional colours when it comes to Christmas. I do like reds and greens and gold but I just have so much fun making Christmas projects with pinks and teals and greens! So, naturally, my card today features just that. I used the new Holiday Wreaths Stamp Set along with its co-ordinating dies as the focal point of my card. This is a large set!!!

I chose to use my Zig Brush pens for the colouring on Bristol paper. And to make the image sparkle just a bit more, I heat embossed it in Silver.
To assemble the card, I embossed the front of the card base using a diagonal stripe embossing folder. I cut a strip of the cutest paper from the new Be Merry 6X6 paper pad and adhered that to the bottom of the card front.

I used the wreath die to cut some craft foam to add lots of dimension and popped that on the card. To give the edge of the patterned paper a more finished look, I used one of the Lacy Border Dies (must have die set!).

I silver heat embossed the sentiment right over the patterned paper. In retrospect, I should have stamped in the centre of the wreath but I think it’s cute either way!
Thanks for stopping in this morning! See you soon!
Laurie
It looks like stained glass! I love it; very pretty.
