Hi friends, this is Caitlin from Caitlin Annalee Cards and I have another sneak peek for you today. When I first saw these new stamp sets from the release coming out on Friday, I knew I had to make my husband a card with them immediately! I paired up the new Window View Stamp Set and the Gone Fishing Stamp Set to create my husband in card form.
I started out by stamping the window image onto my favorite alcohol marker paper as well as onto a full stick post it note which I fussy cut the inner window of to make a mask. The next step was to stamp the little boy image into the window and the sentiment underneath it, which I grabbed from the Here for You Stamp Set. I stamped the fishing pole next to the window scene and most of the fishing accessories on a separate piece of paper and then used Copic markers to color everything in. I used the coordinating dies to cut out all of the accessories from the Gone Fishing Set.
I trimmed down the colored panel to be 3.75 in x 5 in and adhered it to a panel of plaid pattern paper from the Bee Kind Paper Pack. I used the EZ Squeeze Glue tube to attach all of the little fishing lures around the window to give the idea that they are the little boy’s thoughts. The window stamp set is such an amazing, versatile set for all seasons and so many occasions and I can’t wait to see what magic you all make with it!
