Sneak Peek: Easter Greetings

Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I am so excited to be sharing a sneak peek of the new stamp set, Easter Greetings! This stamp set features an adorable bear, dressed up as the Easter Bunny! Other stamps in this 4″ x 6″ stamp set include a huge Easter Basket, a little chickie, a little basket, a chocolate bunny, a handful of Easter Egg designs, and then a solid egg stamp as well!

I wanted to make a card where I created a background that was entirely Easter Eggs, so taking a piece of Distress Heavystock, I used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 1 die set. I then grabbed a handful of Catherine Pooler Inks, and stamped a random background pattern. Then, switching between the Easter Eggs with Patterns stamps, I offset stamped over the colored eggs with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. To finish my background off, I splattered Pink, Purple & Mint metallic watercolor over it. I set this panel aside to dry

For my images, I stamped out the Easter Bear, Basket, and 3 different designs of the Patterned Easter Eggs. I colored them up with my Copic Markers, used the Easter Greetings Coordinating Die Set to cut the images out, and set them aside. I also stamped the sentiment “Happy Easter” in watermark ink onto pink cardstock, and then heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. The coordinating dies for this set also include dies for the 2 sentiments, so I die cut the sentiment out and set it aside.

I could now move on to assembling my card. I adhered my 3 eggs on the backside of my Easter Basket, and then adhered the entire unit to my background panel. Using foam tape, I adhered my Easter Bear & sentiment to the card. To finish this card off, I placed (2) clusters of (3) Dragonfly Dreams Enamel Dots, and my card was completed!
