Hi, everyone! Samantha here today on the Pink and Main Blog excited to share a sneak peek of the upcoming December release coming this Friday, the 20th, featuring the new Love Letters Stamp Set.
To start my card, I first stamped my image onto Copic X-Press It paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink before coloring in the image with my Copic markers. Next, I die cut out the image using the coordinating Love Letters Die Set and also cut a second image from scrap white cardstock to use for added dimension. I set both die-cuts aside to work on my background.
Since the main stamped image is fairly large I thought it would be fun to make a 5.5″ x 5.5″ square card to show it off. To start, I cut a square panel from teal cardstock using my paper trimmer. Next, I selected a fun heart pattern paper from the World to Me 6×6 Paper Pack and trimmed it to 5.25″ by 5.25″ also with my paper trimmer and adhered it to my teal panel. Next, using the same teal cardstock as my background I cut a 4″ x 4″ square and glued it at an angle to my pattern paper as show above, before then gluing on my main image.
To finish everything off I thought it would be fun to add a few more hearts so I grabbed my Simple Greetings Dies from my stash which includes 3 cute heart dies and cut a few hearts out of white and lavender cardstock. Next I took the entire panel and glued it to a white square folding card-base before calling my card complete.
I just think this card turned out so cute, and I just love this stamp.
