Hi,
simplicity is the best. That motto can be used in card-making as well as in life. I prepared 2 easy shaped card with awesome new stamp set – Oh deer stamp set. All images are stamped on watercolour paper with Versa Fine onyx black ink, coloured with Kuretake zig clean color real brush. And I used also coordinating dies.
For the first card I used – Nested hexagon dies – the biggest die and the second smallest. Front of card is embossed with snowflake embossing folder. It is really easy shaped card. I think this one is great when you need to make more than one card. All papers used for this card are watercolour with light structure.
For second card I used Scallop hexagon dies – the biggest one. All Pink and Main dies are so perfect, that you can put into die cutting machine 2 papers at once, just go more times when you cut. It is very easy to create shaped card. This card is embossed also whole, I put into embossing folder whole card, so I have embossed woodgrain motive all over my card. I think that motive is great background for christmas card. For sentiment i used Stitched round rectangle die.
Inside blue card are white papers, so you can choose any side to write message. It is also because blue paper was not so heavy and my card was not standing well. White paper makes it more firm.
Have a nice day
Kate
