Hi there! Annie back with another card featuring stamps from the new “Puddles Boy” and “Puddles Girl” sets.
I was inspired by these stamps to try out some watercoloring again…so I stamped the boy and various raindrops from the “Puddles Boy” set in Versamark ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed these images in white. Using Inktense pencils and a waterbrush, I colored the images with bright colors that were softened a bit by the addition of water.
I wanted the background to be just a subtle wash of colors, so I just diluted some Distress Ink to create the blue sky and grey pavement. The sentiment was taken from the “Puddles Girl” set and embossed with matching white powder. To finish off the card, I just added some sequin “raindrops” and a small red enamel heart to match the boy’s umbrella.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s project…for additional supply details, please visit my blog!
