Sending cups of Positivi-Tea

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is Sylvie @kaliscards!

The new release is coming soon and today, I get to showcase two very sweet die sets: the Pastry tray and Tea party die sets, which I combined with the new Tea time sentiment stamp set. To complement the scene, I had to add some cute bears

To create this card, I die cut the Pastry tray and Tea party parts from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used liquid adhesive to attach elements together. For the tea pot, sugar pot and cup, I die cut additional pieces from pattern paper. In my case, I used a retired pad, but the All Occasion Florals paper pad would be perfect. I then trimmed out parts such as the base and handles to bring a contrasting color against the pattern paper. I adhered the floral pieces with liquid adhesive too.

Next, I stamped the cute bears from the Berry sweet and Bear with wagon stamp sets with a light ink, in order to create a no line coloring effect. I colored the images with Copic markers, and used a brown Copic liner for details such as eyelids and mouths. I also added details in the eyes of one bear and the cheeks with a white gel pen. I then used the Berry sweet and Bear with wagon coordinating dies to cut out the images.

Next, I pre-adhered groups of images together to facilitate placement.

I then prepared the background by blending Distress oxides Scattered straw and Vintage photo at the bottom and Salvaged patina at the top. I then adhered the pre-assembled images on the background panel and finally stamped the sentiment, from the Tea time stamp set with Distress oxides Salvaged patina and Peacock feathers.

Hope you are as excited as I am about this new release!

Crafty hugs,

Sylvie
