happy Tuesday Friends! Katie here with a fun and happy summer card for you. This one features some new release items and some items form last year.
Puppy in a kiddy pool, yes please! Such a darling little guy and ready to play at the beach!
Here is how I made this one. I started by stamping the images from two sets- Sunny Smiles Stamps & Dies and Summer Snow Globe Stamps and Dies and then colored them with my Copics and used the dies to cut them out. Next, I used some cardstock to set the scene, I used Pebble Cardstock for the sand. Behind that I used the Retired Preppy Brights Paper Pad, cut with the Concave Rectangles (honestly one of my fave dies). I mounted this all using EZ tear tape. I mounted that layer on another concave layer using Middle School Cardstock, then on Wildflower Cardstock and again on a white base. Then I used the new Simple Greetings Dies with the Streetlight Cardstock. I added some Rainbow Pearls for a final touch. Other products used were the Asphalt Ink and Foam Tape, White Gel Pen, Black Glaze Pen and EZ Squeeze glue.
Do you like the way it turned out? I think he is sweet and I really want to join him on the beach. I have really been into this color combo lately, you can expect to see more of this palette.
