Hello, Pink & Main friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda back with you today!! I have a Christmas card to share featuring the adorable image from the Holiday Cuties Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the critter image and sentiment from the Holiday Cuties Stamp Set onto Ice Rink cardstock with Asphalt ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights and details with a white gel pen, then used the Holiday Cuties Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
I added lots of layers for my background. I started by die-cutting a panel of Ice Rink cardstock with the sixth largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set and embossed it with the Bricks Embossing Folder. The green cardstock layers were cut using the largest Layered Rectangles A2 Die and the second largest in the Scallop Rectangle Die Set. The plaid paper from the Year Round Plaids 2 Paper Pad was die-cut with the largest die in the Stitched Rectangle A2 1 Die Set. They were stacked and adhered together using liquid adhesive.
The critters and sentiment were both adhered to the background with foam tape. I LOVE how the sentiment looks like the trunk of the tree!! To finish, I added a Gold Sticky Gem to each side of the sentiment and used a black glaze pen on the critters’ eyes.
That’s it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by…I appreciate your time!!
Lots of work with beautiful results.
