Hi there! It’s Jeannie and I’m back to share another card using one of the August release’s Season of Change. I decided I wanted to do a really easy card but I wanted it to still scream fall.
First, I took the acorns and leaves stamp and used it to create a background. I decided to stamp this stamp randomly on a piece of kraft cardstock and I wanted to use gold embossing powder. I adore the look of gold embossing powder on kraft. I decided to use a piece of brown cardstock to frame the background.
Since the background stands out on it’s own, I decided to stamp the fox image on kraft cardstock and do a bit of no line coloring using colored pencils. I didn’t want a strong white trim since I’ll be using the coordinating die to cut this out.
Additionally, I needed to mute the image and the sentiment by adding a strip of vellum to it. I also used a light brown marker to color in the acorns so they would stand out. I also grabbed a brown pen and added some dots for interest.
I love how this card turned out, especially the no line colored fox. Hope you enjoyed it and I’ll see you next week for another card.
Adorable!! Love the little fox and gold embossing!
Have a great day!
