Hello everyone! It’s Jeannie and I’m back today to share another card using August’s release, Season of Change, along with the Stitched Top Note Dies. Is Fall here yet? Because I cannot wait!
I knew I wanted to use the largest Stitched Top Note die but I didn’t want to make a square card. I used it anyway and just used it to create a new shape. I love the unique shape and love the stitching around the shape even more.
The stitched lines really just give the shape that extra detail to make it special. Here I used the largest die from the set and trimmed it down to fit on an A2 panel.
For this scene, I used the masking technique so I could fit everyone in the die cut. I kept the masking over the images and used distress inks to color up the background. I also decided to add gold splatter to the background to give it a bit of interest.
Once all the coloring was completed, I added it to a yellow card base and the card is done. I love how this just makes me think of Fall. I just can’t wait!!
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next week with another card! Have a great day!
